We just finished customising this stunning Isle of Man Green over Kyalami Orange BMW G80 M3 for ‘more’. More Power. More Sound. More Driveability. More Stance. More Shock and Aw!
How did it all go down?
First, the ECU had to be removed and sent to Femto in Finland for unlocking. During the downtime the wheels were also removed and sent out for refinishing, in a gold chosen by the customer.
When the ECU returned, the mechanical modifications began. With only 3 hardware changes from factory, first to go on were the O-SPEC Downpipes and Forward-Facing Intakes. With the NGK Spark Plugs being the 3rd and last piece.
The wheels were refitting, but not without a set of wheel-spacers to ensure perfect fitment. The factory rear wheel arch ‘flare’ or ‘trim’ was removed to give a more timeless look of tyre to wheel arch.
Now the real fun began with Ozzy in the dyno-cell and a complete Tune+ Custom ECU Tune. After many runs and everything dialled in just right; the final figures saw: 481rwkw & 869nm.
