At Eurowerke, performance tuning has always been about more than chasing numbers. It’s about precision, repeatability, and developing solutions that work in the real world - on the street, on the track, and everywhere in between. As modern performance cars continue to evolve, so too must the tools used to tune them.

That’s why we’ve taken a significant step forward with a complete dyno cell expansion at our Castle Hill facility. This upgrade represents a major investment into the future of Eurowerke, allowing us to safely support higher horsepower vehicles, larger platforms, and the growing demand for advanced BMW G8X and S58 tuning in Sydney.

Why the Dyno Cell Needed to Grow

Over the past few years, we’ve seen a sharp rise in power levels across late-model European cars. Platforms like the BMW S58 engine found in the G8X M2, M3, and M4 have redefined what’s possible with factory hardware and the right calibration.

Our previous dyno setup had reached its physical and technical limits. As vehicles became wider, heavier, and more powerful, it was clear that continuing to deliver the level of tuning accuracy we’re known for required a larger, more capable space.

If you’ve visited the workshop recently, you may have noticed the renovations already underway. This wasn’t a simple equipment swap - the entire dyno room has been redesigned from the ground up to support the next generation of performance tuning.

Building a Bigger, Better Dyno Cell

This project builds on our earlier dyno update, which detailed the planning and groundwork behind the expansion. You can read that first chapter here: https://eurowerke.com.au/dyno-cell-expansion-powering-into-the-next-chapter/

Since then, progress has accelerated.

The dyno cell has been physically enlarged to provide additional width and stability for high-powered vehicles. Roof height was increased to comfortably accommodate taller platforms, while improved airflow and clearance allow for safer tuning under sustained load.

Electrical systems and control infrastructure have also been upgraded, ensuring precise data capture and consistent operating conditions across every tuning session. High-output lighting and improved visibility inside the cell help our technicians maintain accuracy and safety throughout each run.

To finish the space properly, the dyno cell now features a professional epoxy floor system supplied and installed by All Epoxy Solution. The high-gloss, durable finish not only looks the part but improves cleanliness, durability, and day-to-day functionality in a high-use tuning environment.

Introducing the Mainline ProHub 3600CS

At the heart of the new dyno cell is our latest and most important upgrade - the Mainline ProHub 3600CS all-wheel hub dynamometer.

This hub dyno system represents a significant leap forward in capability. By mounting directly to the vehicle’s hubs, the ProHub eliminates tyre variables, wheel slip, and inconsistencies that can affect traditional roller dynos. The result is highly repeatable, extremely accurate data - critical when developing custom ECU and TCU calibrations.

The ProHub 3600CS is designed to handle very high horsepower outputs while maintaining precise load control. This makes it ideally suited to modern turbocharged platforms, including high-powered BMW S58 builds running flex fuel or full E85 setups.

Since its arrival, the dyno has already been put to work. Even while the cell renovation continues, we’ve tuned multiple BMW G8X M cars, an M140i, and a Ford Ranger Raptor V6 - all while validating the new system’s performance.

What This Means for BMW S58 and G8X Tuning

For BMW owners, particularly those running the S58 engine, this upgrade is a game-changer.

The expanded dyno cell and ProHub system allow us to tune with greater confidence across a wider range of setups. Whether it’s a stock G87 M2 stepping into its first tune, or a fully modified G80 or G82 running E85 with upgraded fueling, we can now deliver safer, more refined calibrations with improved consistency.

It also enhances our ability to develop and validate new products in-house. From flex-fuel packages and intake systems to cooling upgrades and drivetrain solutions, every recommendation we make is tested under controlled conditions before it reaches our customers.

More Than Just Equipment

This dyno expansion isn’t just about horsepower numbers. It’s about future-proofing the workshop, supporting ongoing R&D, and continuing to raise the standard for performance tuning in Sydney.

Alongside the dyno cell, we’ve also expanded our upstairs storage and support spaces, improving workflow efficiency and allowing our growing team to operate more effectively. These changes ensure that as Eurowerke continues to grow, the quality of our work remains uncompromised.

We’d like to extend a big thank you to Mainline Dyno, Repsol Lubricants Australia, TUNE+, and All Epoxy Solution for their support throughout this build.

Looking Ahead

The dyno cell expansion marks a major milestone for Eurowerke, but it’s far from the final step. With tuning fully back underway and development continuing across multiple platforms, this new facility positions us perfectly for what’s ahead.

If you’re searching for professional dyno tuning in Sydney - particularly for BMW G8X and S58-powered vehicles - we’re ready for the next chapter.

Stay tuned for more updates as we continue pushing performance forward, one build at a time.
