There’s something special about watching a carpark slowly fill with the shapes and sounds of incredible machines just as the sun begins to rise. Last Sunday marked a huge milestone for us-EuroWerke’s 15th Anniversary-and we celebrated it the best way we know how: with a Cars & Coffee event at The Vicar in Dural.
We rolled in at 5:30am, the air crisp at just 4 degrees, the sky faintly glowing behind a veil of fog. No wind, just the kind of stillness that makes exhaust notes echo that little bit sweeter. Two of our crew were already there, shaking off the cold and getting stuck into marquee setup and vehicle placement.
By 6:30am, the venue was starting to take shape. Marquees up, the fog lifting, and the first wave of cars being carefully moved into position. Leading the charge was Grimace, followed closely by our M140i race car. Then came some familiar favourites from our extended EuroWerke family-Alfa from Rein Garage with his clean F80 M3, and the sleek presence of Danny’s McLaren 720s from Bigboi Car Care. The stage was set-and the best was yet to come.
The event was due to officially kick off at 7:30am, but by 7:00, the carpark had already begun to come alive. One by one, headlights pierced through the morning fog, engines humming as a trickle of cars quickly turned into a stream. It started with the usual suspects-clean Euros rolling in with that familiar low growl-but it wasn’t long before the variety exploded. A wave of JDM classics followed, soon joined by the unmistakable rumble of Aussie muscle.
It was everything we love about Cars & Coffee: the unexpected mix, the mutual appreciation, the effortless blend of styles. Slowly but surely, every corner of the carpark began to fill out. The BMW Club of NSW made their presence known, locking down the rear row with a strong lineup. Up front, the G81 M3 Touring Global crew rolled in with authority, staking out their place and setting the tone with a stunning fleet. And nestled right between them, like the perfect puzzle piece, were our longtime friends from Enthusiast Motor Insurance-joining us not just for the love of cars, but to celebrate their own 15-year milestone alongside ours. That felt special.
By 8:15am, it was official-the carpark was completely full. All 390 spots, gone. And the event had only just started. From there, it was all hands on deck for traffic control. With cars still pouring in, we pivoted fast-double parking where we could, triple parking when we had to. It turned into a living, breathing car show in motion.
People wove through the cars, coffee in hand, chatting with mates or stopping to admire something rare, something loud, something unexpected. The energy was electric-the kind that only comes when the passion is real and shared by everyone in the space.
By 9am, the coffee line was almost as long as the traffic jam trying to get in. The Vicar’s staff were absolute legends-moving like a well-oiled machine under pressure. But as these things go, halfway through the rush, one of their coffee machines gave out. That left six baristas juggling one machine and a fast-growing crowd. Still, the vibe never wavered.
Despite the longer than usual wait, everyone kept smiling. People chatted, laughed, admired the cars around them, and sipped their coffees when they finally got them like they were a rare delicacy-which they kind of were at that point. The baristas even pulled us aside to say how incredibly kind and patient our little car community had been. That’s the stuff that makes us proud.
By 9:30, we were at full saturation. The car count had officially tipped over 420, and we had to start turning people away. A new message lit up on the digital sign at the carpark entrance- “Car park full”-and traffic control began politely directing hopeful arrivals to do a lap around the block while we tried to squeeze cars out and shuffle others in. It became a precision dance of movement, and honestly, watching it unfold in real-time was wild.
For Oscar and Ozzy, the brothers behind EuroWerke, it was a moment to soak it all in. There were hugs with old customers, handshakes with industry friends, and quiet moments with family that spoke volumes. Neither of them expected the turnout to be this massive, or this moving. But as they stood back, looking over a sea of cars and familiar faces, it clearly meant the world. They had these words to share:

Your presence and kind gestures meant the world to us. It was an emotional day-one filled with pride, gratitude, and an overwhelming sense of community. Over 420 cars rolled through The Vicar, and the car park and café were buzzing with energy, laughter, and love. To see so many customers, friends, family, and fellow car enthusiasts take time out of their Sunday morning to celebrate this milestone with us was truly humbling. Thank you for being part of something so special.”
“To our incredible team - past and present - thank you. Without our ‘Werke’ family, EuroWerke wouldn’t be what it is today. Every single one of you has played a part in building something truly special. Others may try to replicate what we’ve created, and yes, we’ve had staff poached over the years - but what can’t be copied is the spirit, the bond, and the loyalty that exists within these walls. Team EuroWerke isn’t just a name - it’s a family, and we are deeply grateful to have shared this journey with you.”
By 10am, just half an hour before the official end time, the carpark started to slowly breathe again. Groups of car enthusiasts began to roll out in convoys, off to their next Sunday stop. Others parked up properly and wandered inside to grab lunch, still buzzing from the morning’s vibe.
It was one of those events where the memories outlast the noise, where the connections feel a little deeper, and where you go home with a full heart (and maybe a full SD card too).
As the last engines fired up and the final coffees were sipped, we breathed it in, fully present. What started as a cold, foggy morning had turned into one of the most memorable days in EuroWerke’s journey so far. Our 15th Anniversary Cars & Coffee wasn’t just a celebration of years in business-it was a celebration of the community that’s grown around it. From loyal customers and passionate car clubs to industry partners and lifelong friends, everyone who showed up brought something special with them. It reminded us why we do what we do-and why we’ll keep doing it for many years to come. Until next time, thank you for making this day one for the books.
