2025 Track & Motorsport Recap - A Year of Progress, Persistence, and Performance.
As 2025 comes to a close, we’re looking back on one of our most dynamic and rewarding years on the racetrack. Between drag racing milestones, Supersprint development, and the early groundwork for next year’s plans, this season reminded us exactly why we love motorsport - the constant learning, the pursuit of improvement, and the moments that redefine what our cars are capable of.
This year, Grimace pushed deeper into the 9s, clocking a 9.9 @ 139mph over the quarter mile - a new personal best and an exciting preview of what’s still to come. With refinements underway and more data in hand, the car is now primed to head back out and take an even bigger bite out of that number.
On the circuit, our M140i race car lined up for three Supersprints at Sydney Motorsport Park. Each round brought its own challenge, and each one was met with rain - yet the goal never changed. We focused on learning the circuit in all conditions, refining the setup, and taking measurable steps forward at every outing. Wet or dry, progress remained the theme.
Looking ahead, 2026 marks a shift in direction. Our M40i project officially kicks off at the Canberra Festival of Speed in January, leading into a full calendar of events we can’t wait to share. And of course, Grimace isn’t done - far from it. With new upgrades and fresh targets, we’re preparing for another season of record-setting runs on the quarter mile.
Below, you’ll find links to each event, feature, and milestone from our 2025 motorsport journey. Let’s dive into the year that was - and the foundations for the year ahead.

Supersprint Round 1 - Druitt Circuit - Sydney Motorsport Park
“This year we aim to race more, both at the dragstrip with Grimace and on the racetrack with our M140i. In 2025, we plan to join in on the SuperSprint Series of four rounds. We’re excited to have fun, improve our skills, and fine-tune our race car.
Last Saturday, the 1st of February, saw Round 1 at the Druitt Circuit, Sydney Motorsport Park. Whether was forecasted to be wet and humid, with the potential of a few breaks of sun through the day. On arrival we were greeted with sun - which lasted through scrutineering and the drivers briefing. With three groups and about 6 sessions, there was going to be a lot of track time for all…”

Supersprint Round 2 - Gardner Circuit - Sydney Motorsport Park
“The second round of the SuperSprint season has come and gone, once again held at Sydney Motorsport Park - this time on the Gardner Circuit. This particular event was a standout, bringing together BMW and Porsche competitors in equal numbers, filling the paddock with an impressive 120 cars ready to take on the circuit.
In preparation for this round, our BMW M140i race car underwent several key upgrades. The fuel system received a significant overhaul with the addition of an upgraded billet surge tank housing dual internal pumps, complemented by upgraded in-tank pumps, port injection, and larger injectors. To take advantage of the increased fuel delivery, we fitted a larger hybrid turbocharger from Turbo Systems and completed the setup with a fresh custom TUNE+ ECU tune on 98 octane - resulting in power figures just shy of 400rwkW.
With the extra power sorted, we also made room for wider rear tyres, fitting a pair of fender flares to improve clearance and overall grip on track.”

Supersprint Round 3 - Amaroo Circuit - Sydney Motorsport Park
“Round 3 of the SuperSprint season took us back to Sydney Motorsport Park, this time tackling the Amaroo Circuit layout. Known for its tight, technical corners and minimal margin for error, Amaroo is a true driver’s track - one that rewards precision, commitment, and patience far more than outright horsepower.
We arrived with our M140i race car freshly serviced and tuned on flex E50. The car felt razor-sharp and ready for a full day of hard laps, eager to show the progress from our recent upgrades. Unfortunately, the weather had other plans. The forecast called for wet and windy conditions, and the drive to the track confirmed exactly that - low clouds, damp roads, and patches of drizzle all the way in.
Rolling into the paddock just after 7:00am, the atmosphere was lively despite the gloomy skies. We set up under the awning, keeping a close eye on the horizon while running through final checks. By 8:00am, a few breaks in the cloud brought a hint of optimism. It wasn’t dry by any stretch, but at least it looked like we’d get a fighting chance at a clean session…”
