A crisp Sydney morning, great coffee, and another incredible turnout of European and enthusiast cars at Waterview Café, Bicentennial Park.
There’s something special about arriving before everyone else.
At 6:30am, Bicentennial Park was still wrapped in darkness. The only signs of life were a handful of early-morning exercisers and the smell of coffee machines warming up inside Waterview Café. The weather was crisp, but not bone-chilling - the kind of Sydney winter morning that feels just about perfect.
We only had to wait twenty minutes for sunrise and the first arrival.
Appropriately, it was Ozzy, one of EuroWerke’s owners, arriving in his OEM+ Laguna Seca Blue BMW E46 M3. As always, the first car quickly became two, then five, then ten. Once the flow begins at Cars & Coffee, it rarely stops until the morning comes to an end.
As the doors to Waterview Café opened, owners began arriving, parking up, and heading straight for the warm embrace of caffeine.
Sydney’s European & Enthusiast Car Community
By the official 7:30am start time, both the private and upper car parks were already full.
As the sunlight crept across the tops of the surrounding trees, the diversity of the event continued to grow. A pair of Dodge Vipers made an appearance, a convoy of BMW M2s rolled in together, and enthusiasts arrived with partners, families and even a few furry four-legged friends.
As the morning unfolded, so did the variety. Rotaries, McLarens, modern performance cars, classics and everything in between found their place throughout the venue.
Although the diversity was impressive, BMW once again claimed top honours as the most represented marque of the morning.
For us, that’s always been the magic of Cars & Coffee. Whether you arrive in a concours classic, a daily-driven hot hatch, a track-focused BMW M car or a modern supercar, everyone shares the same passion.
Why Waterview Is One Of Sydney’s Best Cars & Coffee Venues
One of the things that continues to make Waterview such a fantastic venue is that it genuinely delivers on the “Cars & Coffee” promise.
With generous seating areas, excellent food and plenty of room to relax, it becomes more than just a car meet. It’s a place where people can catch up, share stories, enjoy breakfast and spend a few hours surrounded by like-minded enthusiasts.
Some arrive for the cars, some arrive for the coffee, and many stay for both.
Unlike many automotive events where attendees quickly move on, Waterview encourages people to slow down, grab a seat, order breakfast and enjoy the atmosphere. It’s one of the few Sydney Cars & Coffee events where the coffee and brunch experience is just as good as the cars themselves.
Sydney’s Car Culture Continues To Thrive
What made the morning even more special was seeing just how active Sydney’s automotive community has become.
Alongside EuroWerke Cars & Coffee at Waterview, enthusiasts were also attending events hosted by Motor Culture Australia at Sydney Olympic Park, while our friends at Stash and ReDriven welcomed enthusiasts to another fantastic morning in The Hills District.
Rather than competing against one another, these events showcase the strength of Sydney’s enthusiast scene. Whether your passion lies with BMW, Porsche, JDM icons, Australian muscle, classic cars or modern supercars, there are now multiple opportunities every weekend for enthusiasts to connect with like-minded people.
Throughout the morning, a steady stream of V8-powered muscle cars could be heard making their way through Olympic Park, creating a soundtrack of Australian birdlife mixed with big-block V8s. It was a reminder that Sydney’s automotive culture is alive, thriving and more diverse than ever.
EuroWerke Cars & Coffee Sydney

Whether you’re a long-time attendee or considering joining us for the first time, everyone is welcome.
