BMW’s engineers have expertly balanced power and cooling in the G8X M3 and M4. Yet, the oil cooler’s location under the car does leave it susceptible to scrapes and other road challenges. The engineers at O-SPEC saw this as an opportunity and developed a robust engine skid plate for the 2021+ BMW G8X M3/M4, crafted from high-strength aluminium to safeguard your oil cooler from bumps, scrapes, debris and other road hazards.
The design facilitates optimal airflow and features a durable, corrosion-resistant wrinkle black powder coating. Installation is straightforward, requiring the trimming of only a few plastic tabs (see photos for reference).
