WE ARE HIRING: Full-Time E-COMMERCE WEB DESIGNER

We are looking for a full-time ‘E-Commerce Web Designer’ join our Castle Hill team and contribute to the success of one of Sydney’s premier European Specialist Workshops. You’ll be reporting to the Owners’ and Marketing Manager, and will be responsible for the design, development and maintenance of websites, e-commerce stores and EDM’s.

If you have a passion for designing high-performing e-commerce platforms, a strong understanding of SEO and experience with Shopify Development - then this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Website Development & Management - Develop, populate, maintain and optimise Shopify-based websites and navigation, ensuring a seamless, high-converting user experience across different markets.
  • Performance & UX Enhancement - Monitor and report on site performance, troubleshoot issues, and enhance UX/UI for optimal customer engagement and conversion.
  • Collaborate with Marketing & Sales - team to prioritise and display strategic campaigns and content using the appropriate website channel.
  • Shopify & App Integrations - Manage, customise, and integrate Shopify apps, ensuring compatibility with our affiliate networks, B2B portals, and payment systems.
  • SEO Optimisation - Drive organic traffic growth through advanced SEO strategies, optimising site structure, metadata, and content.
  • EDM - Deploy and schedule EDM content according to brand timelines, and promotions.

About you:

  • Undertaken a multi-media degree/diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent organisational skills and time management
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience in Shopify development, e-commerce site management, and integrations.
  • SEO expertise with a track record of increasing organic rankings.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Shopify Liquid, and Adobe Cloud*
  • Strong UX/UI design skills to create seamless, high-converting experiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple international sites and scale digital strategies.
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and enjoy working in a dynamic environment.
  • Previous experience in e-commerce web design is advantageous
  • Ability to see a project through start to finish.

Renumeration:
