With rain all week prior to our Cars & Coffee event, we were a little nervous about the potential of a postponement or cancelation… but come Friday, a forecasted pocket of sunshine recharged our hopes and kept us all looking forward to the weekend. When Sunday arrived, we were greeted with blue skies and a beautiful sunrise – now, this feels like the first day of summer!

Arriving at The Vicar (Dural) we were met with a clear carpark, all the concrete still wet and shining from the previous night’s downpour.

The birds were singing, and the temperature was beginning to rise. First to arrive was Ozzy and Oscar in the EuroWerke Wagons, plus Oscar’s boys in their GTI and with them parked, the ‘floodgates’ opened, and event goers began to arrive. First was a handful of customers and their extremely desirable rides; a modified McLaren 720s, an M5 powered 850i, a highly modified G80 M3 and a twin-turbo V10 Ultima with just shy of 850RWKW! If these were going to set the tone for the day… the day was surely going to be something special.

We were right, as the next to join the early arrivals was Jeremy in what could be Australia’s first BMW G90 M5.

Like all our past events, our goal is for it to not only be about the cars. It’s about the community, their friends, family and even their pets. It’s a moment in time for our community of car enthusiasts to share their passion, with the people closest to them who might not share the same passion (yet). Little by little the crowds grew; with a stunning Ferrari 812GTS and Rein Garage’s F80 M3 stealing the show and most people’s attention.

Now we are a ‘euro’ specific workshop, yes, we service, maintain and modify Toyota Supras’ but they are basically a BMW. And yet, it seems a lot of the family members and friends of our customers do have quite the additional passion for JDM.  Everything from track-spec Subaru’s to Datsun 240z and of course a handful of GTRs. Before you say, ‘But they’re not euros!’, at our Cars & Coffee meets you won’t see ‘just euros’. Why? Because the friends and family of our customers may not drive them, but that doesn’t mean they’re not welcome!

But, what about coffee?

With the temperatures rising, crowds made their way off the sun-soaked carpark and into The Vicar. Their Café is located on their outdoor patio, which turned out to be the perfect spot to overlook the second section of the carpark. What was parked in the second section? Another wide array of diverse rides; everything from classic 911 race car, Alfa Romeo SUV, VW Golf R Mk8, Porsche Cayenne GTS and a Porsche GT3. When you thought there couldn’t be much more, in rolls a BMW E46 M3 CSL followed by an F80 M3 CS. There was everything from Jaguar, to Alfa, to a Nissan Leaf.

Heading back into the front and main carpark, things had changed up.

Now, next to Rein Garage’s yellow F80 sat a beautiful individual E46 M3, 1 or 2 RHD M3’s in Stratus Grey. A little further up the row saw an Aston Martin Vantage N430, along with another Ferrari 812 Superfast. When you thought that was it, out came the BMW S1000RR superbikes. Customers taking off their helmets to reveal a hobby we didn’t even know they had! Making our way around the front carpark there’s one thing that’s hard to… not notice. The Vicar in Dural is located on a road full of car and motorbike enthusiasts, making for an almost rolling car show. Everything from classic muscle, late model exotics and every quirky thing in-between. As the hours passed, the temperature continued to climb and by 10am there was more cars leaving than arriving. One by one and in small groups people began to leave; and what began as an empty carpark was once again, almost empty.

Thanks, are in order.

We must first thank The Vicar, your team and venue absolutely hit the ball out of the park. We all felt so welcomed, plus the food and coffee was just top-notch. Secondly thank-you to all who attended, we love sharing these moments with you all and hope you’re just as excited for more events come 2025
