A common topic that comes up in our office is how incredible and diversely different our customers are, and how the enthusiasm towards cars seems to be the common factor.
So, at the start of 2024 we sat down and made-a-plan to try and best share these stories. Why? We have loved meeting so many of you, getting to know you, your past with cars and your current. The plan was simple to capture, and share tell these stories, digitally - through our website and social media, in the purest form of storytelling, written word and imagery.
Across the year of 2024 we caught up 9 of you, next year we hope to catch up with at least 12. Until then, let’s recap on the year that was and the 9 special Customer Feature Stories:
Thony’s [MRATED] BMW M2
“Thony’s a Bicycle Technician, a career he loves and has been in his whole adult life. He loves working with his hands and being focused on the fine tuning of mechanical parts to perfect synchrony. As a youth he started riding BMX but now rides Mountain Bikes. The only passion Thony has aside from bicycles, is cars, and that’s the story we’re here to share today. Where did it all start?
It all started with a Lexus IS200 at the age of 17, a car he liked - but never truly loved. Years passed and it was a reliable ride, but at 22 years young the bug for speed and performance bit. Thony knew he wanted rear wheel drive and something that felt, solid and well built. Learning as much as he could online, but craving to see, touch and feel. Thony ended up walking straight into a BMW dealership, his eyes were set on the new 135i. The all-new small performance car BMW’s amazing straight six, but with a TURBO, exactly what Thony was after.
With-out a twist of his arm, he bought a BMW 135i (brand-new at 22!) that day and who can blame him? Back then the 135i was a Goliath of a car. Not much on the street would keep up with it, let alone beat it. It wasn’t long until the modifications began”

Less is More, Jason’s BMW F80 M3
“The amount of work required for anything to be highly developed yet subtle, is harder than most would think. That’s why a lot of the time we go over-board and in the case of our passions - cars, we can go over-board quickly.
Too many additions, too many alterations, too many little pieces that in the big picture don’t match up. Jason, our second customer feature for 2024 - hasn’t got this problem. He has fined tuned his BMW F80 M3 to absolute perfection.
But how does one learn such constraint and execution? Well, Less is More.”

The Silver Lining, Georgios’ [GR JET] Toyota Supra
“Have you ever heard the saying, don’t judge a book by its cover? Well, that statement rings true in today’s article, our third Customer Feature with Georgios from South Sydney. Not only is he one of our geographically furthest customers, but also one of our youngest. Young? You might think. Well, he’s only 23 and up to his third car.
Now before you, ‘judge a book by its cover’, let’s us elaborate on the extremely full of life and hard-working Georgios (“G” in this article). Georgios works in the family business, Atlantic Oils. You might know the brand as they’re a popular and proudly Australian owned company established in 1997. If you’ve been down to Sydney Motorsport Park you would have seen their logo on a race-car or even sponsoring the venue. G has worked with the business since leaving school, starting at the bottom and learning from every department. He now helps manage the day to day running of the business and likes to describe himself as the bringer of joy and motivation, which is generally brought through his intoxicating laugh and memory bank of jokes.
So, you may think because of his work, then the love of cars was something handed down to him, but you’d be wrong. His love for cars is a self-inflicted affair which began back in 2015, just before he was old enough to obtain a license.”

More than a Customer, Sham’s [01 & 02 CRKA] BMW G21 & E36
“Meet Shams, he’s one of our original customers who’s chosen Eurowerke for all his Log Book Servicing and Performance Upgrades since 2012. In that time we’ve upgraded and tuned five of his daily drivers and helped maintained another handful of second-cars. Fast forward the years to today and he’s become more than a customer, he’s a close friend and also our lawyer.
At present Shams daily drives a 2021 BMW G21 330i M-Sport with a handful of performance modifications to increase power and improve drivability, along with a complimentary second car, a manual transmission BMW E36 323i Individual.

Just for Thrill, Josh’s BMW F97 X3M Competition
“THE RICHES OF THE GAME ARE IN THE THRILLS, NOT THE MONEY. Have you ever heard that saying? It’s from Ernie Banks and well it for this article - it rings true.
The Hills is one of Sydney’s Shires. It’s a little city within a city and most who live here don’t really need to leave. The community within Castle Hill is one of the main reasons we love being in business here so much. People around here, help each other and that is the case with our customer and most recent feature, Josh. He’s another castle hill local and small business owner.
He’s the second generation of family owned and ran franchise, Carpet Court (Castle Hill). In 1994, thirty years ago his father Bob opened the business. In 1997 Josh started working full-time for his dad. In 2009 Josh bought the business and hasn’t looked back. Over these 30 years there has been ups and downs, but with it all, josh has built a life for himself and his family.
Now Josh isn’t your average car enthusiast, you won’t hear him ever talking about car-parts or modifications. What Josh likes is a thrill. He likes the feeling you get in your gut when that pedal hits the floor and the car, you’re in feels like its shape-shifted into spaceship heading down a black-hole. In other words, it’s just for the thrills.”

Tim & Corina: It’s All About Family
“The colour blue often symbolises serenity, stability, inspiration, wisdom, it can also be a calming colour and symbolise reliability. All these things are incredibly important within a family and maybe that’s why today we are writing about a collection of three blue cars, a husband - Tim, a wife - Corina and their baby girl Ariel.
To introduce Tim and Corina properly, they’ve been our customers of ours for just over a decade. Tim is in Sales and Corina is a Hairdresser. They are also geographically one of our furthest travelling customers, yet with all of life’s changes they still make the effort to choose Eurowerke for all their cars. When we asked them ‘Why?’, they put it simply - ‘Because Oscar and Ozzy treat us like family’.”

Living Outside the Square w/ Gary & his Stage 3 VW Tiguan R-Line 4Motion
“‘Square’ is slang for a person who is conventional and old-fashioned, living inside the square is essentially living a life with as little risk or expectation at all. Our customer, Gary, does not live like this - if anything, he is the opposite. Leading the way for dreamers and showing that the green may just be greener on the other side.
His story capitulates it and luckily for us, we get to share it with you all.
Now, Gary has been a customer of ours since 2016, when we were formally trading as ‘Hills Eurohaus’. But that’s not where this story begins, it begins in the 70’s in Cape Town, South Africa - where Gary was born and brought up. His earliest memories are a spilt share of dangerous and terrifying moments (let’s remember, South Africa wasn’t the safest of places back then, or even now) and love filled, fun moments. One of his fondest is memories being with his uncle, in his uncle’s garage.”
Chris’ Near Perfect BMW M4 [M4 IRL]
“Ever heard the saying, ‘The early bird gets the worm’? Well, we have, and this article is all about waking up early to catch the sunrise with our fantastic customer and friend - Chris, and his near perfect BMW M4.
But first, who is Chris? Chris is an Eastern Suburbs local, who originally hails from Ireland but has called Australia home for 9 years. He has a career in construction and has had two, almost lifelong hobbies: Cars & Music. Chris own’s a customised BMW F82 M4 in Yas Marina Blue over Silverstone Interior, which even though his distance - chooses us for all his servicing and maintenance needs. We’ve chosen Chris for this article due to his commitment, not only to our workshop - but always putting his hand up to attend events and help in any way he can. Plus, he probably the cleanest modified M4 in Australia and a fun back-story…”
